It took just a couple of minutes for me to decide that I liked the COVERGIRL Natureluxe Liquid Silk Foundation. I already liked the concept behind it, “Luxury touched by nature”. I liked that the formula has a hint of jojoba extract and cucumber water, it just sounds soothing and easy on the skin.
I applied this very lightweight foundation with a flat foundation brush since this is my favorite way to apply. It went on like a dream, light with easy coverage that I could build on if I desired. I didn’t need very much of this foundation for it to do a beautiful job of hiding my flaws. My face looked fresh and the product has a great scent. The scent is a nice touch and makes all the difference, as far as I’m concerned. This foundation also has SPF 10, not a whole lot of sunscreen, but a little is better than none! I have the shade Chamois and it was a good fit for me. I also have to mention that I did sample two other lighter shades previously and I felt they also worked great! Somehow, the consistency of this foundation works very well for me and I was able to use the lighter shades with some bronzer brushed on to make it work for my skintone.
This foundation did not cake, melt, or crack and did not cause any breakouts for me. I always wear a primer before my foundation these days, so that helps so much with preventing any of these problems. I thought the final look was fantastic after applying the rest of my makeup, quite flawless! COVERGIRL did a great job with this foundation, in my opinion. I’m really beyond happy with this product and I would purchase this in the future.
