*CLOSED* Review & Giveaway! Crabtree & Evelyn Avocado Olive & Basil Collection

Personally, I love when a certain scent brings me back to a childhood memory.  Does that ever happen to you?  The Avocado Olive & Basil line from Crabtree & Evelyn really brings me back.  The fragrance is reminiscent of a garden…you know the green kind.  It takes me back to when I was about 6 years old.  At that time I was still pulling grass and leaves to “make soup” with the neighbor girl.  The house where we lived had some shade plants growing on one side.  I can remember the scent of the Lily of the Valley on the side of that house like it was yesterday, such a green smell!  Those were innocent times so long ago and so important to remember.

The Avocado Olive & Basil collection features “nourishing avocado, antioxidant-rich olive, and skin-conditioning basil extract. Fragranced with crisp notes of lemon, energizing cypress, and vibrant accords of avocado and olive blossoms” (from Crabtree & Evelyn).

I found the Revitalising Bath & Shower Gel ($20) to provide a beautifully, luxurious lather and you don’t need a lot of product to achieve it.  I used this in the shower but you can use it in the bath, too.  Want to know the best thing about this for me?  My BF actually commented for the first time ever how I smelled so fresh when I came to bed after my shower.  This has never happened in the almost 6 years we have been together!  How’s that for a compliment?

The Skin Revitalising Body Lotion($22) is a perfectly silky lotion that absorbs quickly into the skin and leaves behind that wonderful green fragrance I mentioned.  This lotion is very hydrating and never greasy.  I use it on my body, as well as on my hands, so that should tell you that this is truly non-greasy.  We ALL hate to have greasy lotion on our hands, right?

Overall, the captivating fragrance and the outstanding quality of both products makes me a major fan of the Avocado Olive & Basil Collection.  I also love that the scent of both products have great staying power.  You can find this collection (and many others) at Crabtree-Evelyn.com or find a store near you.
