I mentioned in my previous post that I am already a fan of Hard Candy Cosmetics and got the chance to try the Undercover Agent Undereye Brightener & Concealer Duo (available in 3 shades). It has adorable (and space-saving) packaging, with the concealer sitting on top of the brightener tube.

I’m not embarassed to say that at first, I wasn’t even sure how to use this product. I am the girl who must ALWAYS read the directions. I need guidance, people! There were no directions on the box. THAT made me grumpy. Then I realize the front of the box shows a number 1 for brighten and a number 2 for conceal and cover. AHA! Let’s try that. So I used the brightener first, waited for it to dry. Then I used the concealer. I have quite a bit of redness on my cheek area so for this to work for me I had to conceal the undereye area and then keep blending some more to cover the cheek area. Without that step, I looked like I had pale circles around my eyes, not too cute. That’s my issue, just sharing it with all of you!
This product sets out to “reduce dark circles, puffiness and fine lines” and “conceal and cover for a perfect finish”. I didn’t expect to have a problem with the concealer and I didn’t. It worked just peachy. I did not expect to be enthusiastic about the brightener just because I have not had too much luck with that before. I was so surprised by how well this brightener reduced puffiness and fine lines! I am so happy that such an inexpensive product could have truly amazing effects. I am very satisfied with the results of Hard Candy’s Undercover Agent!
