Review: Lady Gaga Fame Eau de Parfum

As a fan of Lady Gaga, I was beyond excited to try Lady Gaga Fame Eau de Parfum!  I admire the woman, her talent, her creativity, her ambition, the whole package.  I am always inspired by someone who is not afraid to go against the grain.  Lady Gaga Fame is a black eau de parfum that has claims to being the first of its kind.  Others have said that it has been done before.  Either way, I love the look of the black liquid and adore the design of the bottle.  In my opinion, the packaging on a fragrance is just as important as how it smells.  Who wants to buy an ugly bottle of perfume?

As for the Lady Gaga scent, I can tell you that I did not expect the sweetness in this one!  With notes of Apricot and Honey, it brings a true sweet but sexy fragrance to the nose.  For me, the Belladonna fragrance note is truly intriguing.  It is a potentially poisonous plant that yields a delicious musk scent.  Hot!

Lady Gaga once said in an interview “It’s a sexy fragrance.  It’s for someone that wants to seduce someone. You shouldn’t wear it if you’re not likely to look for a lover, because it’s going to attract them.”  Kerry Washington, Scandal star, was interviewed by E! and raved about being a huge fan of Fame.  Kerry said, “I literally was one of the first people in the world to have her Fame perfume…I am obsessed!”

I absolutely agree, Lady Gaga Fame is truly addicting as I have been wearing it this whole week.  I spritz it on a few times a day because I just cannot get enough of this scent!  The only downside is that if I spray it on my skin it doesn’t seem to last long.  Instead I spray it on my sweater, it seems to last and I can enjoy it more that way.
