After my VISIA Complexion Analysis courtesy of MyChelle, a skincare regimen was recommended to help the issues that I struggle with. I tried the MyChelle products formulated for All/Combination skin and gave my thoughts on what worked for me. Some products were effective and some were not due to my oily skin. It was then suggested that I try the Oily/Blemish Control products. I received several products to review and would love to share my final thoughts!
The MyChelle products I have been testing recently:
White Cranberry Cleanser, Clear Skin Clarifying Pads, Clear Skin Serum, and Oil Free Grapefruit Cream, Clear Skin Spot Treatment
The MyChelle Dermaceuticals line of products are free of harmful ingredients such as parabens, phthalates, ureas, petroleum-based chemicals and artificial colors. They are cruelty-free, gluten-free, and vegan friendly.
After first using all of the products together, I did not care for the feel of my skin. I could feel a stickiness on my face that I did not love. I made some adjustments along the way to make this regimen work the best for me!
The White Cranberry Cleanser is a thin liquid cleanser with natural ingredients like Pomegranate Fruit Extract , Cranberry Fruit Juice, and Lemongrass Oil. I love this cleanser! It is gentle but very effective in keeping my oily face clean and clear from blemishes. Love the fresh citrus scent also. I had no issues with the cleanser and continued to use it twice daily.
The Clear Skin Clarifying Pads may look like your typical “acne clearing pads” but these are packed with good stuff like Witch Hazel, Willow Bark Extract, Olive Leaf Extract, and Lavender Oil. I ended up using these about once every other day after cleansing. The cleanser kept breakouts at bay so I didn’t feel the need to use these twice daily. They do provide that tingle typical with Witch Hazel. These pads also have a wonderful citrus scent!
The Clear Skin Serum is designed as Step 3 after your cleanser and pads. It is designed to balance oil and purify the pores. Natural ingredients include Tea Tree Leaf Oil, Cranberry Fruit Juice, Aloe Leaf, and Honeysuckle Flower Extract. I did use this twice daily at first but did not care for the layer of stickiness that it left on my skin. It is a clear thin liquid but it never seemed to completely sink in to my skin. I discontinued using the serum after a couple of days. You may have totally different results from me, though!
The Oil Free Grapefruit Cream is a lightweight moisturizer and I learned quickly that I needed very little to cover my face and neck. The directions say to use a quarter-sized amount but I found that a dime-sized amount worked best for me. When I used more, the product did not sink into my skin very well. This cream uses Sea Buckthorn to provide rapid healing of irritated skin and antibacterial Manuka Oil to help fight blemishes. Other natural ingredients include Coconut, Olive Leaf Extract, Aloe, and Rosemary Leaf Oil. I continued to use this hydrating cream twice daily after the cleanser and enjoyed it very much! I felt it kept my skin both hydrated and calm.
I did not have a need for the Clear Skin Spot Treatment at all over these past few weeks! The MyChelle cleanser/pads/cream kept my skin blemish free. I will definitely keep this on hand to speed recovery of any pimples in the future. This treatment contains 6% Sulphur which I know to be much like a “miracle cure” for pimples, often drying them out overnight! Other natural ingredients include Aloe, Red Grapefruit Peel Oil, and Lavender Oil.
Overall, my favorites of the MyChelle Oily/Blemish Control products would be the White Cranberry Cleanser and Oil Free Grapefruit Cream. Each person will certainly have their own results, but I urge you to try MyChelle if you are in search of new skincare.
You can find MyChelle products for every skin type and skin concern, (even products for men) at MyChelle.com and at health food stores like Whole Foods. Prices for these products range from $9.69 to $31.79 each. In my experience, products with natural ingredients will always be priced higher than typical drugstore products. The MyChelle line is worth a few extra dollars!

You should! There are products for every skin concern. Do let me know if you try something from MyChelle!
I think I would like the citrus scent of the cleansing pads. I have mostly dry skin but my chin can be a bit oily sometimes so I like have pads like this on hand.
