I have some more goodies from LORAC’s Holiday 2014 collection to show you! This Royal Red Carpet set has everything (minus foundation) that you need to create a lovely soft makeup look!
It’s packed with 8 full sized items and it’s available exclusively at HSN.
- .17 fl. oz. 3D Liquid Lustre Eye Shimmer – Diamond
- .12 oz. Alter Ego Lipstick – Duchess (rosy nude)
- .02 oz. 3-in-1 Eyeliner Pencil – Ultra Black
- .25 oz. Cobra Mascara – Black
- .05 oz. Eye Shadow – Chateau (beige)
- .05 oz. Eye Shadow – Manor (cocoa brown)
- .11 oz. Lip Lustre Gloss – Rose Lustre (shimmery rose)
- .11 oz. Blush – Rendezvous (terracotta)
- Lorac 3D Liquid Lustre Eye Shimmer in Diamond– These 3D Liquid Lustres are a unique topcoat for your eyeshadow. They are a liquid (like water) and come with a dropper style applicator. You drop a tiny bit onto the back of your hand and pat on over your shadow. This one is quite sparkly, so I would personally reserve it for a night out or when you want to make a statement. It looks amazing over dark eyeshadow though!
- Eyeshadows in Chateau (beige) and Manor (a cocoa brown)– These shadows were very soft, but unfortunately Chateau was so close to my skintone it was almost invisible. However, the 3D topcoat helped bring it to life.
- Lip Lustre Gloss in Rose– This is a very sheer shimmery gloss. Alone it looks like a clear gloss on the lips, but I love to layer it over a lipstick for extra shine. It has a light non sticky texture and a sweet vanilla scent.
- Alter Ego Lipstick in Duchess– These lipsticks offer an opaque pigment with a matte finish. Duchess is a rosy nude shade and wore very well for 5 hrs. I’m not too crazy about matte lipsticks, but I added the gloss on top and I love how it looked!
- Blush in Rendezvous- This blush is so beautiful! It’s described as being terracotta, but I think it’s more of a shimmering coral/pink. It’s very pigmented and a tiny bit powdery so be sure to tap your brush off. It blends so well though and leaves a beautiful glow that lasted me all night.
- 3-in-1 Eyeliner Pencil in Ultra Black– This is a neat twist up style pencil with a built in sharpener and smudger tool on the end. It was a little dry and I did have a little bit of tugging, but I heated it up for a few seconds with my hair dryer and it was good to go. Once the color was set, it was set until I took it off.
- Cobra Mascara– Before I even saw the name of this mascara I looked at the wand and thought “Wow, this looks like a cobra head!”…I’m a quick one I tell ya! Anyway, the wand really helps lengthen lashes without clumps or smudging! Love it!
Full Face Look:
I am wearing both of the shadows topped with the 3D Lustre, the eyeliner, mascara, blush and lipstick topped with the lipgloss. I love the natural and put together look that this set gives, it’s great for any day or even at the office!
I think it’s a great gift for someone who loves neutral makeup or for someone just starting a makeup collection, it has just about everything you need at a steal of a price! It’s a $107 value for just $39 and you can find it on HSN.com.
