I am happy to share with you a sneak peek at Alima Pure’s new Nourishing Lipbalms, which debut in May!! I learned about Alima Pure while searching for natural cosmetics online. I also learned that Kate O’Brien started the company to “make a line of completely safe, 100% pure mineral pigment makeup so beautiful that her daughter would never miss or desire conventional cosmetics”. I thought this was priceless!! I always enjoy reading the back story on a brand and this one made me smile inside and out.
Alima Pure was nice enough to give me advance samples of the new Nourishing Lipbalms loaded with antioxidants and organic ingredients. The lipbalms are available in Natural, Rhubarb, Holly Berry, and Fig. Check out the swatches:

I have been wearing these lipbalms as if they are lipstick! The pigmentation is beautiful and I am most surprised that my favorite shade is Fig, since it is darker than I would normally be drawn to, but it has this metallic sheen to it that is so awesome! These contain peppermint oil which provides a nice scent and a bit of a tingle when worn. They kept my lips moist, smooth-looking and provided such nice color (I can’t say enough about the color!). But, if you are not looking for color, Natural is the way to go. Just the balm, please!
