How I Reflect and Relax

Several years ago, I was introduced to chai tea lattes and the flavor just blew me away.  As a long-time coffee and tea lover, I couldn’t believe I had not tried it before that day.  The spiced black tea blended with milk is a flavor combination that won me over at first sip, part sweet and part spicy.  Back then, it was necessary to head out to a cafe downtown to find a good chai tea latte.  There certainly was not a simple way to make a good version at home during that time.  Welcome to the world TAZO® Chai Latte K-Cup® pods!  I can now use my Keurig® to brew and experience those exotic flavors at home.

It’s a simple, 2-step brew:  1.  Pour the sweetened dairy packet into your cup, 2. Brew a latte tea blend pod, stir well, and ENJOY!  I love that there is no need to add any additional sweeteners, the taste is just right.Since I work at home, I’m often at my computer writing, editing photos, answering emails, etc.  I love being able to brew my TAZO® Chai Latte K-Cup® pods, sip and experience that wonderful blend of black tea, cinnamon, cardamon, ginger, and vanilla flavors.  What a nice treat while I work.  It truly is a dreamy blend of sweet meets spicy!  When it’s time to wind down at the end of a long day, a good TAZO® Chai Latte is also a way for me to reflect and relax.  I will sometimes grab a notebook and write down new ideas for the blog, or just thoughts on the day.  Does anyone else have an extra-large stash of cute notebooks?  The beautiful covers and different papers inside make me so happy.  Drinking my chai tea latte just puts me in the mood to dream and then I start to make lists in those notebooks:  Things I Want to Accomplish, Steps to Meet my Goals, etc.  A good list can help you manifest those dreams that have been swirling around in your head.  Trust me, it works!  

Being relaxed and taking the time to reflect on my day keeps the positive vibes going in life.  If you have ever been down in the dumps you know that the longer you wallow, the worse it gets.  If I make the effort to take time out at least once a day to call attention to the good things in my life (my family, our health, blog accomplishments, even the sunshine that day) it creates an inner peace.  That inner peace makes a great foundation to bring even more good things my way.  The mood that my TAZO® Chai Latte puts me in just paves the way for that good karma!
