Another makeup purchase from February that I am loving: Too Faced Boudoir Eyes Soft & Sexy Eyeshadow Collection. After lusting after this palette for a short while I finally purchased it from Beauty.com. While shipping was fast, it arrived a little banged up. One of the shadows popped right out of the tin and caused a bit of a mess in the palette. I still need to repair it with a bit of glue so it doesn’t keep falling out.
I must confess I prefer the old sturdy cardboard packaging to the new tin packaging of the Too Faced palettes. I don’t really know why, I just do. I guess it doesn’t matter since they are not going to change it back for me, right? The Boudoir Eyes palette contains nine shadows with a handy little booklet to help out with creating looks they call “Day”, “Classic”, and “Fashion”. I love the booklet and each one of the shadows, they are so easy to wear!

What I love about the Boudoir Eyes palette is that I feel very confident using any combination of these eyeshadows to create a look. It just takes the guesswork out of putting on makeup and I like that a lot. I can follow the tips from the booklet or use my own combination of colors. The shimmers are so gorgeous to use all over the lid and the mattes are perfect for blending out the crease or using as eyeliner.
Overall, I am extremely happy with the Too Faced Boudoir Eyes palette and would recommend it to anyone who likes to wear makeup! TooFaced.com, $36

This is a well used palette in my collection. I don’t stick with their recommendations since I love changing around and making lots of combinations. Great palette and review.

Hi Victoria! I think it always happens with Too Faced palettes, I just love the brand and how they put together shadows :).
I like the idea of separating the shadows into different looks which takes away the guesswork of what shadows to pair with what. The middle fashion shadow is gorgeous!
