Since I procrastinated on posting this review, Velvet Sugar is no longer considered a “new” scent from Bath & Body Works. Better late than never, so here we go! I purchased the Velvet Sugar Fine Fragrance Mist because it has red velvet in the fragrance notes. Yum!
I have been loving Velvet Sugar for its subtle sweetness and often spray it on at night before bed. The scent is on the warm side and it just makes me feel good when I wear it.
Info from the Bath & Body Works website:
Top Notes: Wild Strawberries, White Nectarine, Pear Blossom, Apple Nectar
Mid Notes: Pink Jasmine, Golden Plum, Red Velvet Créme, Dewy Honeysuckle, Freesia
Dry Notes: Golden Amber, Vanilla , Tolu Balsam, Caramel, Baileys Créme, Sugared Musk
For me, the fruity scent does not stick around that long and I am left with the Vanilla and Caramel. That’s why I call it a warm scent and I just love it!
Overall, Velvet Sugar is another win from Bath & Body Works. It is a scent that will stay in my favorites for a while. In case you missed it, I have blogged about some of my other BBW faves: Forever Red, Forever Midnight, Forever Red Vanilla Rum, Twilight Woods, Cashmere Glow.
Available at Bath & Body Works, the travel size is on sale MIX OR MATCH 3 for $10!
