I recently had the chance to try CARD.com, where you can get a Visa debit card just like the one from your bank. The debit cards from CARD.com are FREE to order, activate and load. There is no credit check and I was able to sign up and order my card in just a couple of minutes.

I received my card in the mail within 7 days and activated it over the phone. Now I can load it up using PayPal, MoneyPak, direct deposit, and more. CARD.com is free for 30 days – then $5.95 monthly fee, which they will waive when you direct deposit over $800 in the previous 30 days.
