Everyone has a band they would consider an all-time favorite above all else. Pearl Jam is that band for me. Eddie Vedder is without a doubt my all-time favorite male vocalist. It is the band of which I own the most CDs and MP3s and have been a fan club member for almost 15 years. Yes, I will consider myself a major fan/nerd when it comes to Pearl Jam.
It has been 20 years since the release of their first album Ten. I am beyond excited for the release of a Pearl Jam documentary, Pearl Jam Twenty, directed by Cameron Crowe. It is to be released in theaters in September and will be a must-have for me! After the theatrical release, the film will air on PBS in October before its DVD release at the end of the year. It has been an amazing 20 years!!
