Affordable Bath and Body: Essence of Beauty at CVS

Since the bath and body category is basically my favorite of all beauty, I am thrilled to let you know about the affordable items you can find at CVS.  The newest line from Essence of Beauty is made with “natural ingredients: no artificial dyes, parabens, sulfates or petrolatum.”  The line is infused with aromatic botanical ingredients and is available in 3 scent collections: Lemon Verbena with Olive Oil, Eucalyptus with Mint Oil, Lavender with Rosemary Oil.  There are a variety of different types of products available.  A tried a few and would love to share what I thought!

Essence of Beauty Lemon Verbena Body Wash ReviewThe Essence of Beauty Botanical Body Wash in Lemon Verbena with Olive Oil has a fragrance that will BLOW YOU AWAY if you love a true, delicious, fresh lemon scent!  I am absolutely addicted to this fragrance, it’s so true-to-life.  The wonderful ingredients include Aloe Leaf Extract, Coffee Seed Extract, Olive Fruit Oil and a ton more.  The lather is fabulous and my skin feels notably softer, hydrated and silkier after use.  I will for sure re-purchase when I finish this bottle.  By the way, the large 16 oz size is awesome and won’t leave you empty quickly.

Essence of Beauty Foaming Bath Soak ReviewThe Essence of Beauty Foaming Bath Soak in Eucalyptus with Mint Oil has an intoxicating fragrance as well.  While I’m not much of a bath type of gal, I love this soak for my foot spa!  The extracts and oils (Aloe Leaf Extract, Rosemary Leaf Oil, Spearmint Oil to name a few) along with Epsom Salts make this soak great for soothing my tired feet at least once a week.

Essence of Beauty Body Oil ReviewThe Essence of Beauty Body Oil in Lemon Verbena with Olive Oil is a body oil spray that’s great for after shower/bath.  Again, THIS SCENT IS AMAZING.  The fab oils like Jojoba Seed Oil, Safflower Seed Oil, Olive Oil, Lemongrass Oil and more) combine to bring skin that luxurious feel when massaged into arms and legs after a long day.  It doesn’t leave my skin feeling oily and smells great.

Essence of Beauty Hand Cream ReviewThe Essence of Beauty Hand Cream in Eucalyptus with Mint Oil is my preferred hand cream for mornings.  There is something about this particular scent that seems to energize me.  I like it because it is a medium consistency, not too thick.  With the cold weather and wind we seem to get lately, my hands (knuckles especially) seem to crack instantly.  This hand cream saves my hands from the effects of that cold.  Just some of the good things included in the ingredients: Coffee Seed Extract, Eucalyptus Leaf Oil, Spearmint Oil.

Be sure to visit CVS (or shop online) and discover all of the new bath and body products in the latest Essence of Beauty lines!  Besides the products I tested, there are bar soaps, body butters, and sugar scrubs.  All items are priced at less than $10!

Have you tried any of the new botanical lines from Essence of Beauty yet?

When I was in CVS the other day, I walked by the Essence of Beauty display relegated to the dark back corner of the store, and I thought to myself that I should stop and give it a look. I didn’t really have time, but the Lemon Verbena body wash sounds like something I would love. I love your reviews of bath & body products!
