It’s always difficult to find a sunscreen for your face that doesn’t cause breakouts. Well, it’s difficult for me anyway! My skin is oily and acne-prone already and most sunscreens will cause pimples on my face. It seems I have to choose: sunburn or breakout. I’m outside every day with the kids and sunscreen is an everyday necessity.
I don’t think I have tried a more lightweight sunscreen for my face than Avon* Anew Solar Advance. It has a nice scent, goes on with a light layer and has an SPF 45. I was definitely expecting at least one pimple from this sunscreen and was pleasantly surprised. This actually did not cause any breakouts for me. That’s the biggest test of whether I can use a sunscreen on my face again. I’m always confident the SPF will work fine and protect me from the sun, I just look for a problem with my oily skin. Of course, this works perfectly well to prevent sunburn.
