Ciracle Blackhead Soap from Wishtrend and Announcing the Wish Box - My Highest Self

Ciracle Blackhead Soap from Wishtrend and Announcing the Wish Box

After being introduced to Wishtrend by my fellow blogger and friend Jake, I made my first purchase using a coupon code on their Facebook page.  Since these products come from Korea, the prices and shipping can be expensive and I was lucky to find a coupon code that made this order just $10.00!

Since blackheads have always been a problem for me, I thought the Ciracle Blackhead Soap would be the perfect product to try.  Wishtrend had just a few Korean products for sale when I bought this a while back but it looks like they have added more since then.

You probably have to be just a little bit adventurous in trying these products because there is not much in the way of information on the site.  Also, the ingredients on the package are also in Korean (or Chinese? forgive me I don’t know!).  So, really you just have to trust that it’s not going to do any damage.  The package says “Miracle of Vitamin C” so I gather that the secret ingredient is Vitamin C.

I love that the soap is black since it’s for preventing/removing blackheads!  The lather on the Ciracle Blackhead Soap is very dense so it clings to your face and you can massage it around.  The scent is sort-of like orange peel…not fresh orange, but orange peel.  Very pleasant!  As I massaged the soap on my face, I liked to concentrate on the T-zone area just because those are my problem areas.

After washing off the lovely bubbles, my face had a distinctive clean and smooth feel.  For my skin, I found it a bit too drying to use twice every day.  Instead, I like to use this every other day.

I actually do find that this has cleared out my pores very well!  This bar of soap will probably last the whole year if I am using it just every other day so $10.00 was quite the deal.  It was fun ordering from Korea and waiting two weeks to see what I ordered.  Is that weird?  Probably…and I’m OK with that :).

If you are the adventurous type and love to try products that are not available in the U.S. (and don’t mind waiting two weeks for your package), check out Wishtrend.  It looks like they now offer the Wish Box, a subscription service where you pay $29.99 for 3-5 products a month.  I’m not too sure if these are samples since it says “products”.  It seems like for the March box, the theme is makeup!

What do you think of buying skincare products outside of the U.S.?  Would you consider yourself adventurous enough to do so?  Let me know your thoughts, I’d love to hear from you in the comment section!

I love Wishtrend, they’re absolutely my favorite sponsor and I have a few more reviews from them lined up! I’ve been so backed up with work lately that I haven’t had time to do much of anything, but I miss you Tina, and I’m SO glad you liked this!

I’ll be back! I got a REALLY amazing job with an awesome company…and I’ve already learned so much about the skin, cosmetics and the like. I’m going to be bringing much more substantial stuff to the blog soon. <3

Thanks for sharing Tina! I’m from Taiwan so I’ve tried some Asian skincare products. Since I also have blackheads I’ll try to hunt this down when I go home this summer! Alternatively I can order a whole bunch of stuff from the website. A lot of it looks really cool!

I know I’m interested in more of the Ciracle products and I haven’t even had the chance to look at all they have added. I’m so curious about the Wish Box, think I might email and find out if these are full-sized products. What do you think of it, is it something you would order?

My issue with beauty box subscription is that it’s too risky for my taste. You never know if you’ll just end up with a whole bunch of stuff that you will never use. But that’s just me. I’m a control freak! :p
