Review: La Source Conditioning Hand Wash from Crabtree & Evelyn

Crabtree & Evelyn recently debuted a new collection of Conditioning Hand Washes.  I had the chance to test the La Source Conditioning Hand Wash and found it to be pure luxury for my hands.  All are formulated without parabens, propylene glycol, phthalate or mineral oil.  Each of the eight new hand washes is designed to be gentle while cleansing and conditioning hands.

crabtree and evelyn hand wash reviewThe La Source Conditioning Hand Wash from Crabtree & Evelyn provides a light, fluffy lather that leaves hands feeling soft and clean.  The scent is very clean, refreshing and reminds me of the ocean.  Formulated with bladderwrack, algae, and spirulina extracts (all found in the sea) these ingredients are rich in minerals and antioxidants.

Since I wash my hands about a zillion times a day, I am always in need of a hand wash that cleanses well, doesn’t leave my hands dry and smells great.  For me, fragrance in a soap is at least 50% of the importance factor.  If it does not have a pleasant scent, it gets replaced pretty quickly.  La Source Conditioning Hand Wash has everything I look for in a great hand wash for very frequent use.  The only downside would be the high price tag but I feel that Crabtree & Evelyn is always worth the splurge.  You can really use just half a pump for each wash to make it last.  I have to do this since I wash my hands SO MANY times throught the day.

Overall, if you enjoy a luxury hand product and love for your hand wash to be very conditioning with a fresh water fragrance, La Source Conditioning Hand Wash from Crabtree & Evelyn is for you!  I’d love to try the Rosewater or Citron fragrance next.  Find all eight fragrances at Crabtree-Evelyn.com, $18 each.
