It’s time for another installment of FREE stuff in my mailbox! I hope you are all having a good week so far! We’ve been having some nice weather here in the Chicago area so I had the most wonderful Mother’s Day with the whole family (mine plus my mom, sisters, brother, nieces, nephews, the entire crew!). We spent the day out at a park with a picnic and let the kids play.
I was the lucky recipient of the most beautiful roses, sweet cards, and a fantastic new Sony Cyber-shot camera, woo hoooooo! I have had the same little Kodak Easyshare camera for about 6 years and before that I had a lesser model Kodak for about 4 years. To say that I am enjoying this camera is an understatement!
Back to what I received FREE recently…
I received this Aveda gift from the Vogue Influencer Network, thanks to Victoria from Easy2Save for giving me a heads up to hurry and sign up for this one! We are both in the Vogue Influencer Network and know that when an offer pops up you have to sign up immediately as it is very limited. Be sure to follow her blog as she posts fun freebies!
Next, I received my prize from a blog/Twitter giveaway from Daytime with Donna, an Actifirm Discovery Kit. There is actually another giveaway going on over there right now, with FOUR WINNERS, you should enter! If you haven’t guessed from any of my previous posts, Twitter is an excellent resource for finding contests and giveaways. I’m excited to try out Actifirm, I’ve read some good things!
Last, but not least, I received a lovely gift in the mail for being a Purex Insider (you can apply here)! I thought this was such a nice gesture giving out all the members Mother’s Day gifts, whether they are moms or not.

Thanks, you are a sweetheart! My first goal when I started this blog was to share my finds so others could get the rewards too. Now, after blogging for a year I’ve had so many more opportunities blossom and I’m happy to share each as they come along. That’s how I got started is from reading my favorite blogs and am so thankful for sites like Deal Seeking Mom, Freebies4Mom and Nouveau Cheap, they were my original inspirations!
