Today, we’re looking at L’Oreal Paris Colour Riche Nail Color in Tweet Me. Cute name, right? While all nail polish lovers find it easy to pick out and buy a color, they are not always easy to love once on your nails. It seems lately, I’ve been striking out with nail polish.
I adore this yellow with its subtle yellow shimmer in the gorgeous L’Oreal bottle. Once I had it on my nails, I don’t think it looked flattering on me at all.
The formula on this L’Oreal polish is plenty different from my last L’Oreal (Because You’re Worth It). Tweet Me has a very thin consistency, I needed 3 coats for the photos below and my nails still shows through.
In these photos, I was trying hard to capture the subtle sparkle which is really the only thing that I liked about Tweet Me once it was on my nails!
Can you see the pretty sparkle in this last photo? Hopefully so! I just wish my nail didn’t show through after 3 coats and that this shade of yellow didn’t look so AWFUL on my hands!

Yes, and I still have to try this on my toes! I might like it a whole lot for a pedicure, who knows? 🙂

I actually like the yellow on you! But I also don’t like that’s it’s not more opaque. Especially after 3 coats. That’s pretty disappointing.
Aw thanks! On a better note, in real life it looks a bit more opaque than in the photos. I’ll try using this as a base with some sparkle on top like Kasiah suggested above.

I find that yellow’s don’t look good on me either. I usually put a shatter or glitter on top of the yellow. It makes the yellow pretty!
