Mini Haul from Bath & Body Works - My Highest Self

Mini Haul from Bath & Body Works

Not too long ago, there was a FABULOUS sale on 3-wick candles at Bath & Body Works ($8 each I think??).  I hauled my bootie over there to look for that Chicago Candle Collection that I shared with you previously.  I also used a $10 off coupon so it was a really nice deal.

Bath and Body Works Haul 2013 - Candles, Velvet Sugar

Here’s what I ended up with:  My intentions were to buy all three of the Chicago candles but MAN I hated the scent of Sweet Home Chicago (glazed popcorn, cream, and caramel)! I just couldn’t bring myself to buy it because I knew I would never want to burn it.  It was so sweet it almost made me sick.  So I did grab the other two: Michigan Avenue (fresh citrus, cypress, amber) and Lake Shore Drive (fresh water, shoreline woods, hint of mint).  I also decided on Black Tie (green sage, sandalwood, Tonka bean) and Winter Vanilla Latte (vanilla bean, caramel, whipped cream), since I’ve never tried either.  I have burned through about 75% of Lake Shore Drive already, it’s so nice!

*Oops, I just realized I also bought the Mahogany Teakwood candle (mahogony, cedar wood, oak, geranium) and have burned through it already!!  Obviously it’s now a favorite :).

Of course, I can’t seem to leave Bath & Body Works without some new Fragrance Mist so I picked up Velvet Sugar and I’m loving it!  The scent of Red Velvet, fruits, floral, and caramel make it great for my newest Winter fragrance.  At the register I grabbed one of the shower poufs on impulse because it had a bit of sparkle. I have to tell you it was kind of a waste of $3.50.  I have bought $1 shower poufs with more oomph than this one.  It’s very thin and needs double the amount of netting to make it worthwhile.

Many 3-wick candles are currently on sale for just $10 right now!

Have you hit Bath & Body Works lately?  What’s on your wish list right now?

It’s a great fragrance, I love how it fills up the room. I think I need to go grab several more before they are gone forever!
