Review: First Aid Beauty (FAB) Ultra Repair Concentrate - My Highest Self

Review: First Aid Beauty (FAB) Ultra Repair Concentrate

You may remember I won the Ultra Repair Concentrate from First Aid Beauty on Twitter a short while ago.  I’ve had the chance to give it a try and wanted to share my thoughts on this multi-use product!

The Ultra Repair Concentrate from FAB is a skin protectant that can be used to repair dry, cracked skin anywhere on the body and face.  The product is like a solid in its jar but when you dab out a little and warm it in your hands it changes and applies more like body butter.  There’s no scent to speak of which is just fine by me as with an intense moisturizing product there isn’t a need for extra fragrance.  You don’t need a lot of product to get good results either.

I’ve found the Ultra Repair Concentrate to be excellent for the driest parts of my body like elbows, knees and feet!  When applied it seems like it might leave a greasy residue but after two or three minutes you’ll notice it does not feel greasy.  I did try this on my hands and love it especially for the knuckles and cuticles which get dry and cracked from this crazy Chicago weather.  I have to say I do enjoy it the most for my feet and love to use it at night after a shower.  You can really use it anywhere from your lips to your toes!

Overall, I would recommend the Ultra Repair Concentrate to anyone looking for intense hydration and for healing any dry, cracked skin.  I’m guessing this jar would last a long time since it is a concentrated formula.  You can find the 2 oz Ultra Repair Concentrate for $22.00 online and at Sephora.

Have any of you tried anything from FAB?  Would you try the Ultra Repair Concentrate?  If so, what would you use it for?  Leave a comment, I always appreciate hearing from you!

Ah this looks good! I am forever and ever looking for something that’s going to keep my hands moisturized. I have found great hand cream, but I’m not good enough to reapply often. Maybe I should start from there instead of lemming for another cream :p

You should check it out, it’s so multi-purpose you really can’t go wrong. Plus, it’s so interesting the consistency that the solid turns into and doesn’t end up greasy! I hate having to reapply creams and this one is pretty intensive so it lasts.

That’s good news! I do have hand creams that survive a hand wash, but I’m really lazy haha
