Review: Kiss Nail Dress from Influenster - My Highest Self

Review: Kiss Nail Dress from Influenster

One of the items I received in my Love VoxBox from Influenster,  and the one I tried first, is Kiss Nail Dress.  These are nail strips you can use on your fingers and toes and Kiss claims they last up to 10 days.  There are 28 strips and a mini nail nail file in each package.

The back of the package has directions on how to apply:

You can see all the cute designs available (I’m loving all the jeweled versions like the ones I used!):

You can also use these with the imPRESS Press-On Manicure to create nail art:

There are a few different sizes of nail strips, so once you match up the right size with each nail you just pull off the thin strips and start applying.  These were extremely easy to attach and also easy to file off the ends properly.  Previous nail strips I have applied have been too thick or stiff so that when I filed the ends, they had a choppy look.  Once the Kiss Nail Dress were on and the ends were filed, I thought these looked very natural!  I love the design that I received and would love to try more of the jeweled designs.  It took me about 15 minutes to apply the full set because I was careful in placing them properly and making sure to secure each strip from the middle out to the sides.  I feel like a careful application really helps with staying power.

The only problem I see with these personally is that a lot of my nails are small (not very wide) so I had to use up more of the smaller strips.  What that means is now there are not enough small strips for me to make another set.  Unless I got crafty and started trimming the remaining strips to fit my nails, I won’t be able to use this set one last time.

I wore this set of Kiss Nail Dress for 5 full days and these wore just like nail polish for me.  The tips on all the nails were chipped just as if I had worn a regular manicure for 5 days.  However, I did not experience any lifting on any side of the nail strips at all during my 5 days of wear!  I think that is pretty amazing.

You can see how the Kiss Nail Dress looks after 5 days in the photos below.  Keep in mind that I am a stay-at-home mom and these nails saw many showers, many dishes, MANY MANY hand washings, kids’ baths, and laundry for those 5 days.  All that I experienced was normal tip wear just like any manicure.  I am highly impressed that there was no lifting whatsoever.  Not one of these strips was ready to come off until I took them off.

By the way, removal was easy as pie.  I just peeled each strip off clean and then swiped each bare nail with polish remover to get any remaining adhesive off.  No problem!

Overall, I am extremely happy with Kiss Nail Dress and would likely purchase these in the future.  I thought the application and removal was a cinch, and love the look of pretty nail art without the work.

You can find Kiss Nail Dress (18 different styles), suggested retail $6.99, at mass-market retailers and major drug store chains like WalMart, CVS, and Walgreens.

I loovve these. I purchased a package of the flower ones to use as an accent nail and it lasts longer than the polish on the rest of my nails. I thought they would rip up my nails, but they come off so easy.
    Great review!
