Show-Offs from the Wet n Wild Spoiled Collection - My Highest Self

Show-Offs from the Wet n Wild Spoiled Collection

Vitamin C, Shrimp on the Barbie, Paying with Platinum

You may , with its pile of nail polish purchases.  I’d like to finally show off the three Wet n Wild colors from the Spoiled collection!  For each of these I used 3 coats of polish.  I liked the formula on all but the first two (Vitamin C & Shrimp on the Barbie) I liked the best.  Paying with Platinum was fine but still a bit sheer after the third coat.  I love how Paying with Platinum changes color, though!

I had to take a photo of all three brushes together and show you how each one looks like it was just randomly cut!  Crazy, right?  Even with the odd cutting of these brushes I still like them.  I love the shorter, wider, rounded brushes like this one.  As I probably mentioned before, this is a preference and you may like a different type of brush.

I found these Wet n Wild colors from the Spoiled collection at my local CVS for $1.99 each.  These are an excellent value, in my opinion.  These three colors were stand-outs for me way back when I first heard these were going to be released in stores.  I’m glad I kept looking for these since they sold out at first.

Do you own any colors from the Spoiled collection?  Be sure to share your favorites in the comments section below, I’d love to hear from you!

Ooh, I like! (: And I like the duochrome. They’re all very nice, I might have to pick myself up few bottles. I mean you can’t beat the price!

So true, you cannot argue with that price PLUS with a sale these are unbelievably cheap! Let me know if you decide to get any of these!

Paying with Platinum reminds me of Deborah Lippmaan Wicked Game! I know Wet n’ Wild has some amazing colors up their sleeves, but everybody complains about the brushes!

Well, I’m glad to be saving about 14 bucks with Wet n Wild!! Yes, I have seen a bunch of reviews with mention of the brushes, too. For 2 bucks, I’ll put up with it :).

I love the names too, very clever! I wish some other brands would switch to this type of brush but I guess you can’t please everyone, right? 🙂

I have never tried that brand I like the Platinum not sure about the other two. The cut of the brushes is very strange. I bought an Avon Nail Wear Pro in Blossom last week and I like it quite a bit.

I have some Avon polish from many years ago that I still love, especially the shape of the bottles that I have. I’ll have to check out some of their latest soon!

Hi! I have two colors from the spoiled collection. A mint shimmer and a glitter top coat. I have the names on my lacquer list on my page I’m too lazy to look now. lmao I love the colors but I hate the brush! It’s too thick and big. with the mint, the application is fine but with the glitter top coat I could barely get any glitter on it :x! i got mine for 1.50 each so for that price i’ll deal with the crappy brush.

I love the pink and orange swatches! next time i got to cvs i may need to purchase more!

Hi Megan! See what I mean, that brush preference differs from person to person! I like the Revlon ColorStay brush too, have you tried any of those?

      • March 15, 2012 / 3:27 pm

No, I dont have any Revlon colors. but I just purchased 12 polishes from Claire’s! 2 mini packs and two big bottles ( colors in my lacquer page) and 5 of the minis the brushes are good and the other pack the brushes are like to long for the bottle so they are bent. i may have to cut them. but I really like the Clarie’s colors and they have alot of different mini packs and they are BOGO 50%. *** fyi ***
i cant pass up a good deal!

        happy painting!
