Show & Tell: My Deals from Urban Decay!

Thought I would share what I purchased from the Urban Decay sale-of-the-year!

I bought the Midnight Emergency Kit ($22), three eyeshadow singles  Lounge, Aquarius, Psychedelic Sister ($9.00 each) , and the temporary tattoo kit because it was $2.00 and I was ONE dollar away from getting free shipping, hahaaaa!  They threw in four very generous-sized samples of their new Naked Skin Foundation PLUS a $5.00 off coupon for my next purchase.

A better look so you can see the shadows:

It was tough picking out eyeshadows since I do have quite a few shades from Urban Decay and I always seem to be drawn to the pretty neutral shimmers. I knew I HAD to have the Midnight Emergency Kit and then I picked the three most unique single shadows from the ones that I liked.

As I mentioned many times before, I love the Urban Decay sales!  What did YOU purchase from their sale of-the-year?

Hi Marcia, I try to hold out spending on a lot of sales but UD always gets me!

Hi Sunny! Me too, now it’s like I don’t want to touch it, it’s so pretty. Sorry UD doesn’t ship to Belgium :(. I’m always jealous of your gorgeous shopping excursions so are we even? 🙂 :).

Hi Alison! Thanks, I have the vegan palette and like the shades a lot. You are right, it does have those glitter bits and they seem to always migrate all over your face. I guess I don’t mind looking like a glittery disco ball! Who knew?

Oooh nice picks! I LOVE the look of Lounge–it’s something I would totally pick for myself. I didn’t buy anything this year–I wouldn’t say I’m on a spending ban per se, but I told myself I wouldn’t buy anything new or more expensive than drugstore-brand for at least another 2 weeks…of course I failed today and ordered the Guerlain 14 Les Fauves palette, but hey–baby steps. 😛

Thanks, Becca! Yes, Lounge was a must it was THE most unique of the shadows I had in my cart. See, that’s why I can’t start saying “oh I’m going to just not buy anything for this amount of time” because you just never know what you might see on sale (or limited edition)! Good luck on not buying anything else for the rest of those 2 weeks :).

I had to stop going back to that site. i also ordered the midnight emergency kit. and three shadows, one of them Psychedelic Sister. i tried to not order too much neutrals. i seem to be in love with them lately. it will be my first UD i have owned. So i thought this sale was a great price and time to finally try them out 🙂 (i also orderded the vegan palette because of the cute dogs on the case)

Hi Diana! Yes, I had a BUNCH of single shadows in my cart and then just kept looking at all the colors I already have and removing them. They were all so similar! I hope you enjoy everything, I’m such a UD fan. The only downside is with their glitter shadows, they end up all over your face! I’m guessing they may have fixed that issue when they reformulated the shadows? I also own the vegan palette (bought on sale of course) and really like it a lot, the packaging is very cute too! Let me know what you think when you get all your goodies and try them out :).

Ugh. So jealous! I wish I could order from the sale, but sadly they don’t ship to Canada. Terribly sad…

Hi Rebecca! Oh no, that stinks!! I think a campaign to get them to ship to Canada is in order :).
