I had the chance to preview the simplehuman 5X Telescoping Sensor Mirror here at home.  Right out of the box, I could tell this was a magnifying mirror in a class by itself.  The sturdy mirror has led lights all around it.  A sensor on the mirror allows it to turn on when you look into it and shut off automatically when you walk away.  You can adjust the mirror at many angles up or down and there are no cords.  You can recharge the mirror with a USB port (cable and adapter included).  Love what you hear so far?

Like I said, just looking at the features above I knew that the simplehuman Sensor Mirror was going to be a nice addition to my beauty routine.  Now, let’s talk about the magnification, lighting and the view when you look into the Sensor Mirror.

simplehuman 5x Sensor Mirror

Guys…I was truly ASTOUNDED with the clarity of the magnification when looking into the mirror.  I have encountered quite a few magnifying mirrors in my day as a beauty blogger and most will magnify but in kind of a scary way (you know what I mean).  The combination of the tru-lux light system of LED lights and the superior magnification from simplehuman is just amazing.  I felt like I could gaze into the mirror for days, the view is so clear!  I’m telling you this will revolutionize my everyday beauty routine from grooming my eyebrows, to applying eye makeup, lipstick and more.

I feel like with the simplehuman Sensor Mirror I can perfect my makeup and hair because I can see every detail like never before!  You can see in the photo below, that the ring of lights casts a beautifying glow as well.  I kind of love it, if you can’t tell!

I would absolutely love to have one of these. You look so clear in this mirror. I’ve added this to my wish list.

I really like what I’m seeing! I’d wanted a good lighted makeup mirror bc the lighting in my bathroom is horrible & we have no room in our apartment to get me a lighted vanity so the best, most comfortable place for me to do my makeup in at my dining room table in my kitchen. I purchased a lighted, magnifying mirror from walmart.com. It looked good online & received a lot of positive reviews so I ordered it. I was pretty excited to try it out since even tho the natural light that shines upon my dining room table is great (due to a skylight over my dining room table) it doesn’t last long, it depends on the weather & then there’s night so I needed a good lighted mirror since I can’t depend on the sun 100% of the time. Well I received it & it preforms the way it’s supposed to but it feels really cheap. Its made out of thin, cheap plastic. The knobs to adjust the lighting & magnification are really hard to turn. In fact, I’m afraid to force them to turn bc I just know they’ll break off. The cord isn’t very long & is very thick so it gets in the way a lot. I use it when I have to but I’m really not too pleased with it. As of late I’ve been looking at table mirrors again & this one is exactly what I’m looking for.
