Talk about being in love with a shade of red! Yep, I have been adoring a new shade of red by Merle Norman*. This video actually brought a tear to my eye, I’m pretty sentimental so a heartfelt story will do that to me. What you need to know is that Hussy is a beautifully unique red with pink flecks that just glisten in the light. The Age Defying Lipcolor went on smooth and really does change colors depending on the lighting. It can take on a bright red look as well as a raspberry color on me. I did not use lipliner in my photos so that it wouldn’t change the color at all. I tried so hard to capture the flecks in the photo below but you really can see them in person. There is an amazing balance of glimmer and shine that always looks classy with the Hussy color!
I used a sharp liner brush to apply the lipcolor as a liner first and filled in my lips using the tube. This allowed for the most perfect application I could manage! I’m a bit of a klutz and don’t have a very steady hand so this method helped a ton. Even through a small lunch, this lip color had fantastic staying power and only showed just a bit of wear. It feels great on, gave my lips a very smooth look, and gave an even application.
