Tru Blooms Chicago (First Harvest) Eau de Parfum - My Highest Self

Tru Blooms Chicago (First Harvest) Eau de Parfum

tru blooms chicago 2012 perfume reviewAs far as unique fragrances go, Tru Blooms Chicago Eau de Parfum (First Harvest) is in a class by itself.  Tru Fragrance, based in Chicago, developed this unique initiative where flowers grown in Chicagoland gardens were harvested and used to create this fragrance.  This is the first time a fine fragrance has been made from ingredients taken from the public spaces, streets, urban farms and neighborhood gardens of a community.

In 2012, Tru Blooms cultivated more than 22 green spaces throughout Chicago, provided specialized job training for more than 150 workers, and created more than 60 jobs for local residents.

As a Chicago native, this floral scent with notes of rose, lavender and violet makes me proud of my city.  With each bottle being a true piece of history, Tru Blooms Chicago makes a stunning gift to anyone who loves Chicago.  I am thrilled with the lingering scent of garden roses in this fragrance!  I also like that the lavender and violet sneak in along with a hint of musk.  Each note mingles with the other and none is overpowering.  I found the scent to be lasting and just needed to reapply after a couple of hours.

Find Tru Blooms Chicago (First Harvest) online, 1.7 oz $38.00 and 3.4 oz $65.00.  Tru Bloom Chicago (Second Harvest) is coming soon!
