Several months back after cutting my hair short, I decided I wanted an even bigger change. I began to transition my hair from burgundy to bleach blonde. I’ve been blonde several times throughout my life and was really in need of a new look again.

If you have dark hair and decided to go blonde, you probably already know that it is quite the process. I do it all at home and (long story short) it involves several rounds of bleaching and toning to get a color that doesn’t resemble orange. Clean and Clear is my favorite brand of drugstore shampoo and conditioner. I feel like it really helps my scalp. My only problem with it is the design of the shampoo bottle gets hard to use once you’re down to like a third of the bottle. It’s so hard to squeeze more product out!

Wow, your hair looks great blonde and super short! A fabulous look. I don’t envy you with all that upkeep, especially since you do it yourself – but the outcome is worth it! I’ve just been hearing about this product line. At first, I was confused because of “scalp” in the name. I thought it was a dandruff haircare brand. But it does make sense that a healthy scalp helps stimulate hair growth.

Your hair looks great. Mine looks like the goats’ next meal. It really needs some help – I do need to get it cut to start but a good shampoo and conditioner will go a long way too.

OMG I love love love the blonde hair. I cant even imagine the 2 day process to change from dark to blonde. But good to know that there is a product that totally can help and provide nourishment cause the bleach alone I can only imagine would wreck havoc on the hair. I have dry hair naturally so I think I might need to try this out for sure. Great post!
