Review & Giveaway: Dr. Dennis Gross Skincare Alpha Beta Ultra Gentle Daily Peel - My Highest Self

Review & Giveaway: Dr. Dennis Gross Skincare Alpha Beta Ultra Gentle Daily Peel

A while back, the nice folks at LovelySkin.com sent me a new product to test:  Dr. Dennis Gross Alpha Beta Ultra Gentle Daily Peel.  Their two-step peel has been around for a while but the Ultra Gentle version is new.  This peel is specially designed for sensitive skin and sets out to exfoliate gently, nourish, and combat the most common signs of aging.

How to Use Dr. Dennis Gross Alpha Beta PeelDoes Dr. Dennis Gross Alpha Beta Peel WorkDr. Dennis Gross Ultra Gentle Peel ReviewMy skin has always been oily and acne-prone and tends to go a little haywire (adding dry skin to the mix) when it gets cold here.  This two-step peel has been great for gentle exfoliation, removing dead skin, and keeping skin balanced.  I will use this peel about every other day.  Each packet contains Step 1 and Step 2.  I massage the Step 1 pad on to clean, dry skin until the pad is no longer very moist.  Then I wait about 3 minutes, and do the same with the Step 2 pad.  The result is instantly softer and brighter skin.  The effects over several uses has brought me smoother-feeling skin, brighter complexion, softness, and a fresh canvas for my foundation.

Since it an ultra gentle formula, I did not experience any redness or further irritation which tends to occur with a regular strength peel.  This is a product that I would definitely purchase in the future!  There are 30 treatments in this box, so you could really stretch this out for a good two months (or longer) if you do the 2 step treatment every other day or every few days.

Product received from PR for editorial consideration, all opinions expressed are my own.

I like to detox my skin at least twice a week with the Aztec Secret Indian Healing Clay mask. I’ve been using it for the past 5 years to keep my acne under control. My pores definitely feels clogged when i don’t use it.

I have acne prone skin on my chin and a little on my forehead (in summer) and it drives me nuts once cold hits and my cheeks go dry! I am 31 and still have breakout on my chin like a teen and when I wear foundation it gets worse in more areas. I like Peter Thomas Roth antiaging cleanser because it has the salicylic acid in it for the aging but it also helps with the acne. I use a toner like Neutrogena toner with salicylic acid a few times a week too, or more in the summer or on chin. I would love to try this. I tried the beta glow pads but they have the tanner in them. I really want to try this two step one! ty! you could either use the email I am using to comment or cstone412.cs@gmail.com

I just use coconut oil to take my make up off but I definitely need to step up my game and take better care of my skin.
