This week, I did some much-needed shopping for shorts and Summer jeans. I did not find any shorts that I liked (no surprise there) but I DID find the perfect pair of ankle jeans at Kohl’s! They were exactly what I was looking for, fit just right, and are so comfortable so I picked up two pairs: light wash and dark wash. When I find a great pair of jeans it always pays to get more than one pair. They were on sale for $27.99 and I found this simple top for Summer at just $11.00. Score!
I added some Target sandals from a few years back, my newest cobalt blue clutch from JustFab, and new jewelry from Rocksbox. Can we talk about the tassel details on this clutch? I love the bright blue against the light blues in my outfit! It actually comes with a very cute chain link strap. I keep it in my purse for those times when I need my hands free. This very comfy outfit is affordable and great for every day.

I feel your pain re shorts – it takes me forever to find ones I like; often I still wear jeans or leggings when it is in the middle of summer as a result!

Thanks, Sarah! I love that I can turn it into a crossbody purse in a flash too. I have definitely found myself wearing leggings in the summer as well. I just cannot see myself wearing these extra short shorts that are in stores everywhere :(.
