Review & Giveaway: NU SKIN Epoch Glacial Marine Mud Mask and Clay Pack Deep Cleansing Masque - My Highest Self

Review & Giveaway: NU SKIN Epoch Glacial Marine Mud Mask and Clay Pack Deep Cleansing Masque

I’ve always loved a good face mask.  I believe it is a skincare step that can often make or break the state of your skin if you use the right products.  I think first you have to know your skin.  My skin has always been oily and acne prone but as I age there are certainly other issues that factor in.  A main component of my skincare routine is always a good clay or mud mask.  This past month, I had the chance to test out two masks that are great for my skin type.  The NU SKIN Epoch Glacial Marine Mud Mask and NU SKIN Clay Pack Deep Cleansing Masque have been sharing the spotlight for a while now.

Nu Skin Mask ReviewHow to use Nu Skin Clay PackThe NU SKIN Epoch Glacial Marine Mask uses an extremely fine-grained mud from the Pacific Northwest to help remove dead skin cells and impurities.  The mask has a thin consistency and is quite easy to slather a generous layer on the face.  I leave it on for about 10 minutes, then rinse with warm water.  I like the soft feel of my skin and I know that the glacial marine mud helps clear away all the gunk that can have my face looking dull.  This mask is great for mornings about once a week!

The NU SKIN Clay Pack Deep Cleansing Masque uses Kaolin Clay the deep clean the pores.  This mask is a bit thicker and I tend to target my t-zone with this one.  I leave it on for about 15 minutes and rinse with warm water after.  I just love the way my skin feels after this mask, I can tell my pores are more clear when it feels like my skin can breathe again!  I would say this one is my favorite of the two and I love this for a Sunday night spa ritual.

I partnered with a  NU SKIN distributor to bring you this post, all opinions are my own.

I have never used a mask but definitely would love to. I am to the point where I really enjoy even the smallest of pampering.

My daily routine is using my Clarisonic with a gentle cleanser right after my morning shower. Then I use the Bliss Triple Oxygen mask and follow up with a moisturizer with sunscreen. In the evening, I use oil based cleansers to remove my makeup & finish with a serum!

I do mask with a charcoal mask 3 times a week because I have extremely oily skin and large pores. I would definitely use these products.

I moisturize day and night and give myself a small face massage each time I apply.

I bet it feels so refreshing after you wash off the masks. It would be nice to try both of these!
