Review & Giveaway: Simple Skincare Products (ARV: $53) #KindtoCitySkin - My Highest Self

Review & Giveaway: Simple Skincare Products (ARV: $53) #KindtoCitySkin

This past week, I received a few Simple Skincare products to test out and share my thoughts with you all.  All Simple Skincare products are formulated with NO harsh chemicals, NO artificial perfumes or dyes, and NO parabens.  I tried the Simple Foaming Face Wash, Simple Protecting Light Moisturizer with SPF 15, Simple Ultra-Light Gel Moisturizer, Simple Nourishing 24-Hour Day/Night Cream, Simple Cleansing Facial Wipes, and Simple Eye Make-up Remover Pads.

Simple Skincare Review Giveaway 2014

I really enjoyed all of the Simple products but I do have two clear favorites. First, the Foaming Facial Wash for it’s fast and easy pump, nice foam lather and fresh clean results.  I have oily, acne-prone skin and found this very nice as my morning cleanser.

My second favorite would be the Eye Make-up Remover Pads because they are twice the size of my regular brand and they remove my eye makeup well with no stinging.  I will actually be replacing my old favorite with these!

Have you ever thought about the impact that city living can have on your skin?  Simple Skincare conducted an interesting survey of women in major US cities on their skincare habits to help women understand this issue.  Simple launched “Kind to City Skin”, a global initiative to talk about both environmental and lifestyle-related factors that affect our faces.  This survey found that 27% of these women have gone 2 days without washing their face!  I can’t imagine that but I know there might be extreme circumstances involved.  Simple Cleansing Facial Wipes are great to have on hand for a situation where your regular cleanser is not available.  I love the large size of these wipes, too!  A whopping 59% of women surveyed are not actively trying to protect skin from sun or wind.  Woah.  The Simple Protecting Light Moisturizer with SPF 15 is a perfect solution for this.  It is a light moisturizer that dries quickly and provides sun protection, great for a daytime moisturizer.

Hopefully, you are all taking great care of your skin whether you live in the city or the country.  If you would like the chance to try Simple Skincare products, enter to win all 6 products below!

I need to improve on wearing sunscreen. I get lazy and also think (tho I know this is not correct) I’m only going to be out for a short time so I will be fine without it.
