Revlon CustomEyes Shadow & Liner - Beach Beauty - My Highest Self

Revlon CustomEyes Shadow & Liner – Beach Beauty

Quite some time ago, I purchased this Revlon CustomEyes Shadow & Liner palette in Beach Beauty. I was first drawn to that pretty turquoise/blue shadow and then to the textures on each!  Cool, right?  That turquoise/blue is out of my norm, so I went for it.

A small thing I didn’t like about this palette:  It opens from the left side instead of the top.  I know, weird.

I never realized how little I actually wear matte shadow until I put this one to use.  I love my shimmer shadows so much!  I use the grey matte shadow and the brown shimmer shadow on the lid.  The turquoise blue was an unexpected inner corner highlight, the white shimmer for browbone highlight and the matte black was one amazing liner!  You can keep it very dark black or smudge it out but either way, it has great staying power.

The gray and turquoise/blue I found difficult to blend and worked the best with the little sponge applicator.  When using my brushes I was fighting with these shadows!  My favorite of the bunch is the brown shimmer which kind of makes me mad but…I just love shimmers and I can’t deny it!

I can’t remember if I bought this at Walgreens, CVS, or Target but a search online tells me that Revlon Customeyes in Beach Beauty is selling for around $8.99 everywhere.

What do you think of Beach Beauty?

Hi Kath, I just don’t like the way it opens up, does it bug you at all? Maybe it’s just me!
