Family Movie Night with Vampire Dog @Redbox #CouchCritics #CBias

This weekend, we did a family movie night and had the best time!  I headed to Walmart to pick up a Redbox movie and some food for the evening.  See all the photos in my complete Google+ Story.

The first thing I did was grab the movie from Redbox since it’s right inside the front door at Walmart.  Convenient!  You can follow Redbox on Twitter and Facebook for all the latest news.

Found the movie I was looking for, Vampire Dog!  I hope the kids like this one!

I picked up ingredients so that we could make our own pizza and have popcorn and drinks, too.  I thought it would be fun for the kids to be involved in making the food and it was!  My son had to have his chef hat on while preparing the pizza :).

We added ranch seasoning to our popcorn, it is so delicious!

After we made our pizza and popcorn, we sat down to watch Vampire Dog as a family.  I’m reviewing the movie for the #CouchCritics website and can tell you that it was a cute movie absolutely suitable for all family members.  I enjoyed Norm MacDonald as the voice of the dog and thought there was plenty of good acting in the movie.  It had a good message even though the plot was a bit predictable.  I do think Vampire Dog was lacking in the “belly-laughs” department.

I can’t wait to have our next Redbox family movie night, I’m brainstorming movie and snack ideas already!
