Date Night In for Valentine’s Day

As a couple with two small children, Ray and I do not have the luxury of date night out as often as we would like.  For Valentine’s Day, I have a few ideas up my sleeve for a special date night in.  To keep a relationship strong, it is essential to take time out and just enjoy each other’s company.  We all lead busy lives but I think of couples time as the glue that keeps it all together!

I’m thrilled that I can always count on Walmart to help me put together a great date night in, Valentine’s Day was in full effect from decorations to treats!  I found everything from the perfect card to sweet treats, cocktails, and more.  Now on to the details!

My perfect “hot date with my honey” for Valentine’s Day would probably start with us eating a nice dinner at home that we made together.  After the kids head off to bed, I’d put together a few signature “his and hers” cocktails.  In years past, our cocktails were served in plastic cups at dingy bars that offered $1 drinks.  Oh, how times have changed!
